just remember that if you sell them, you got a have a business lic. taxes AND the stinking %10 excise tax just for making fishing lures. You can do it under the radar for awhile but when someone wants your customers or you make someone mad you will get caught and have to pay the back taxes and fines. Its a hard business in this economy.

so how about setting up shop at flea markets and doing it a little at a time, that is no different than selling stuff at a yard sale, do you have to have a license for that?

I guess my question is this, people make stuff and sell stuff at flea markets and yardsales every day. I hardly know any of them who have a license to make and sell it, they just do it. People sell their products on ebay all the time. I know some of them have license but I suspect a lot of them do not, so I was just wondering.

just when you think your doing ok, you pay the taxes and find out your not. lol Thats why its so important to make sure you get the money you need to for a product, people keep charging less and less and only hurting them selves. Nothing else in this economy is going down in price why should baits we make. There is no way we can compete with china or the big bait companies. But what we can do is give better service and unique products.

you are 100% correct on that, no way we can compete with China, atleast not until they suffer the same fate our country has.

have you tried to do business with China is a pain the milling system stinks. If you do not use FedEx or UPS they will not get your mail.

Also want to point out that anyone who sells more than $9,000 on e-bay; they (e-bay) must report it to the federal government! Just started this year I think.
