OK, i've joked........but.........

I can't figure out where to mount these two Spiderloks.......... I hate to drill holes twice.

The biggest problem I have is that I THINK this boat has the front seat(s) too far back from front of bow. That's cause there is storage under feet if sitting in front. I can either
A) mount them close to front deck and have max amount of pole in the water, but maybe have to get out of seat(s) to set hook and grab rods
or
B) Mount closer to seats, and be able to better deal with rods and fish and such, but have less of rods sticking past boat.

I'm leaning to B.

BUT, I'm almost thinking I need to take these out on the water and sort of see how it would work before mounting. Problem is, I can't really figure out how to do that, realistically.

Serious question........are there any measurements for how far back they should be from front? Or how far from seats? Are there any true numbers folks have come up with? Youtube got me one old guy describing it, but never really gave much info.

Here's the front of my boat. The Spyderlok is NOT mounted, just stuck up there to see what it looked like.
