Thread: No wind and a good limit!

Fished from sun up till 3:00pm today and caught a limit! I also caught several limits of yellow bass and drum. Fishing was outstanding the first hour of light and stunk the next 6 hours. It starter to pick back up around 2. I left them biting. Fished were scattered with the overcast skies. Caught my biggest fish of the day (2.3 pounder) not 1 minute after my jig hit the water. I thought it was going to be a great day. I also caught a dink for the dink contest. Ended up with 3 over 2 pounds and the rest between 3/4 to 1.5 pounds. I threw everything but the kitchen sink at them today and never really locked down a color pattern. Caught fish in 1 foot of water and 9 foot of water and all depths in between. The one common factor was that they were all related to structure/brush after it was light enough to see.
