    Default No wind and a good limit!


    Fished from sun up till 3:00pm today and caught a limit! I also caught several limits of yellow bass and drum. Fishing was outstanding the first hour of light and stunk the next 6 hours. It starter to pick back up around 2. I left them biting. Fished were scattered with the overcast skies. Caught my biggest fish of the day (2.3 pounder) not 1 minute after my jig hit the water. I thought it was going to be a great day. I also caught a dink for the dink contest. Ended up with 3 over 2 pounds and the rest between 3/4 to 1.5 pounds. I threw everything but the kitchen sink at them today and never really locked down a color Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1417732975.566105.jpg Views: 637 Size: 47.8 KBpattern. Caught fish in 1 foot of water and 9 foot of water and all depths in between. The one common factor was that they were all related to structure/brush after it was light enough to see.

    dont kill off all the grass next year and you will be amazed at the shallow bite and how much better the fishing will be, shallow fishing has been ruined in the pool last few years because of spraying and it used to be incredible, i also think it has affected the overall number of fish in the pool as well
