Default Great afternoon on the water!

Met up with Nimrod for an afternoon yesterday and another lesson in "two poling". Fish were kinda scattered but when he finally found what we were looking for it was worth the wait! Southern Pro walleye tubes in orange and chartreuse and solid chartreuse were on fire! Also the Southern Pro purple and chartreuse umbrella tube was just as hot. It was steady but late in the day. Finally had to leave them to get back to the ramp before dark. Probably caught 75 between us but kept only 36. Wish we had another 20 minutes of daylight and expect we could have kept a double limit. Thanks for another great day on the water, my friend.

Jerry that is a fine 4 fish hold photo. One of the best buddy. Been telling you those Southern Pro in 2.5'' glow tubes on a 1/4 oz head was the ticket. I catch em on the 2'' umbrellas but when the big mommas bite they hammer that big glow bait. Works best when big fish are aggressive and low light or dingy water. Yesterday's dark over cast day fishing deep it was the ticket.
