Crappie Camp Reports Welcome Here.

Jerry and Darryl are still fishing, so I'll open the thread for reports and pics of 2006 Fall Crappie Camp. (If you weren't there, you can also post your excuses!). LOL

I'm sure several reports will follow, but I'm betting everyone will be asking for the hushpuppie receipe!!

I'll try to upload a few pics as well.

Back home from a great weekend with friends. Thought we'd freeze our tails off friday night but made it through. Didn't do so good on the fish part, ended with 2 baitfish in the bucket, bass to some people. Major traffic jam about the white river on I-40 had us moving at a snails crawl.

Had a great time at crappie camp, had some very good food and met some very nice people. Want to thank Jerry and Darryl, they put out a lot of effort and made crappie camp a success. The scenery was spectacular this time of year, have a few pics to post.

Got there at 5:30 Friday afternoon, and went on a nightstalk with Gooch. It was a nice night, but the fish didn't think so. We picked up 2 small crappie just before dark. Caught a couple of bass the next morning and both of us had to get back home before the football game. I sure hate it that I missed the feast last night. Just know that I was there in spirit. Met some good folks and saw some ol' friends. Had a great time. BTW...I think there is a weather curse on crappie camp.:D


Beautiful lake Greeson. It sure is a nice lake, but the brushpiles that me and Gooch remembered where too shallow.

Wendy and I had a great time at camp. I know the best part was eattin! Can we please get that hushpuppy receipe for us . And thank yall again for cookin all that food for us.

Nice bule bird skies Sat and Sun. Not the best catchin.
