I am back to work this morning. Three people called in and will not make it and the rest want to know what I want to do. I want to watch that cork go under again. What a great bunch of people I spent the weekend with. We just got Adam (my son) dried out a couple of months ago. He got to see you don't have to be drunk and stupid to have a good time and associate with people. Now he is addicted to the thump!! He experienced his first one this weekend. Jerry, Darryl...I can't thank you enough for putting this on. And, thanks to all for being a fine example to Adam.

I was glad to get to meet you and Diet Dr Pepper (Adam). Just wish my wife had not filled my schedule with so much crap so we could have visited more.

We need to spend some time together. But, I am going to have to pay for last week end. For some reason, we can take the Durango to the shop except for the problem it has now. All of a sudden we are on an economy kick and I am the only one who can fix it....NEXT WEEKEND!!!!
I think I will be more in control of scheduling my time though; until the weather warms up enough to get the toon boat back out. I was going to harrass you about your wife making you leave camp for a ball game until I got back home and had my next two weekends lined out for me. Ain't it great??

Hey DrPepper, have you heard of anyone being able to get back into the pond at Gold Creek? I just wondered if this rain might have picked up the water level a bit. I heard they still have the gates open so it may have just gone in and run right back out.....

I have heard they are bent and determined to give folks the oportunity to get square with their docks and boathouses so they will get permitted. And they will keep to the original schedule. So I don't think they have closed the gates just yet. I went riding around Wilamena Cove subdivision about a month ago. I miss that hole so much that I almost jumped in. I hiked down to the mouth and there just ain't no way my boat is going to make it back there. A small boat could be drug across some of the spots I saw though. I think I will keep my eyes open for one of those one man pontoon buggies for the next time they do this to me.
