Well I had a blast at crappie camp in the breif time I was allowed to attend. Thank you so much Jerry and Darryl for organizing and setting up such a wonderful event like this. I had been looking forward to this for quite some time and my only dissapointment was I didnt have more time to spend on the water and visiting with other crappie.comers. I almost want to apologize to those I didnt get to visit with that were there but I was running low on sleep and trying to maximize my time on the water.
For those that did not get to attend either of the crappie camps I encourage you to come in the spring. The red buds will be blooming, the turkeys will be gobling and the crappie will be biting. I can already hear Jerry yelling "fish on blue"

I bet you did have a great time catching that walleye that I should have caught and eating the hushpuppys I should have eaten.

Sorry I didnt get time to visit with you and your dad. We will have to set up a nightstalk on the Little Maumelle some evening now that the days are shorter and we can stalk and still get home at a decent hour.

    Take care

Yes, we will host another Spring Crappie Camp at Kirby Landing on Lake Greeson April 14-18, 2007. Start making your plans now. It should be a big one. Jerry has already been contacted by Steve "Wildman" Wilson about it for two days of media coverage focusing on the crappie camp and the AGFC Fish Habitat Barge.

Can't wait! Can we get some more hushpuppies? Maybe by then I will have my GPS installed in my boat by then. The power cable came in today! Guess I'm get started on that now.

Yall did a great job on CC. Just wished we all could have been there at the same time.

A big THANK YOU to those that were able to make it to Fall Crappie Camp. It was great to visit with some old friends and make some new friends. I hope everyone picked up one or two useful tips and had a good time. I really appreciate all the good food everyone brought. I'll work on getting that Hushpuppy recipe from Carlos - may have to sweet-talk his sister.
