I don't spiderrig , only jig fish and still catch lots of Bass , Drum, Gar, Catfish , Buffalo, and Carp at times.

gar and slimers are your biggest problem down here. But strangely enough I didn't hook into too many trash fish last year--but it will happen.

i spiderrig about 90% of the time i fish all over ar. and ms. most of the time i run 8 fourteen ozark trolling poles !! their are times that you can't fish all because they are biting so fast then their is times you can take a nap and not miss a bite either!!! but it is a fun way of fishing. once the water warms at time the gar mess with you a little depending on were your fishing and we do catch a few catfish and bass also . once you kinda get the hang you will be hooked !!!!!! i posted a couple of threads back a month or so back on spiderriggin go back and look them up they will help!!!

As far as trash fish go, I catch more Drum and Bass than anything. I cant even remember the last time I caught a Gar. Last time out I caught a decent size Blue though. Those suckers will sure make a mess of your rigs. Spent 20 minutes re-tying.
