Putting out brush can be adictive...
No I've not put any out in a few days now but it seems this time of the year with water still under 50 here I find myself dropping brush right and left in hopes of plenty of options come this Spring. I would like to put more out on Gillham lake, mainly cause it's handy it's so close, next time I get on the lake....maybe 5 or 6 more places would really add to what I've already got. I like to drop least 3 per spot, cedars that is, and hope that's enough. I'd almost put some out in deeper water like say 35' if I thought that wasn't too deep??? Most of what I'm dropping is around 18-25FOW I wonder what depth everyone else drops their brush?? Reason being is in 18FOW come Summer water levels of 4-5' down that only puts the brush in 13-14' which is a bit on the shallow side and if your brush sticks up 8' your only 5-6' to the top of it.
