Your test results are intriguing but don't you think it would be better to test it with a knot? The knot is where all the stress is exerted. I just wonder if a line having a stronger linear strength translates into stronger knot strength. I used Mr. Crappie line for years and was impressed by it's strength. So impressed I decided to the put the 10lb on a couple of my bass rods. It did not perform near as well in that task, way too much stretch and very limited abrasion resistance. Here lately I have tried the Suffix Elite and the P-Line CXX Hi-Vis. I think I like the P-Line the best out of those two. If you can get a hold of some Yo-Zuri Hybrid I would really like to see it's results. That is my favorite line and it always seemed to be super strong, limp, and had very good abrasion resistance. It is really hard to find these days though and they don't make it in Hi-Viz. Just out of curiosity I might try some tests myself.
