    Actually, I meant I was curious if there was anything I was missing. I sometimes overlook the obvious...where to look for a decent boat, place to go, etc. Thanks for the craigslist link Joe.

    Look at kayaks. I love mine. I fish any where i want in it.

    Find a map of how to get to Midway not to far south of you. When the flooding is over you can get down on the Levee drve most of the lake. Some good spots to drive of down to the water and some good cover to fish from bank.

    Kalki, you moved to an awesome fishing area. Just gonna have to wait a few months for waters to recede now, but you NEED a boat. Just a stumpjumper w/ small motor, or just a sculling paddle. Nothing I could tell you now would be of any use due to the flooding, but you're in for some awesome fishing this summer. Can't help you on the bank fishing, but your options will be limitless from any type of boat when the water goes down. Check back with me when/if the water goes down and I'll point you in several directions.
