Sounds good Dennis. I was gonna give you a shout later to ask if it would be fishable by Saturday.

Guys- we'll make the decision Thursday as to whether or not we will still hold the tournament or reschedule it. As always, safety is first concern and with the high water and more rain to come, I just don't know yet.
I will be speaking to the game and fish guys, local experts and etc prior to making some sort of decision.

I just don't know Wayne. If i can get ahold of slabs and taters, I'll talk to him. He is probably one of the two or three experts on lake Conway that I trust. That boy knows the lake better than anyone I can think of.
I think it will be fishable, but I don't know how willing the fish will be.

My wife keeps saying I never listen to her....... or something like that!
Guy's my neighbor hood is flooded lots of home's surrounded by water here on Lake Conway lots of folks who are going to need help and with all the other tragedy going on. Im going to opt out of the tourney this weekend and offer help where I can. If any of you Live around Lake Conway and need a truck and boat to help for clean up let me know. I just dont feel right about fishing a Tourney after all this and so many have lost so much.

If the tournament is rescheduled it would be best for me to move it to June as I am booked thru the end of May. If it is not resceduled I will be there. High water doesn't bother me as much as high current does. It is my opinion that the urgency to help comes before the flood when people are trying to get out what they can. After the water recedes the only things to do is settle with Insurance companies and hire contractors. Maybe I am wrong about this since I have never been flooded, but that is what I figure will happen. With that said, I will be willing to help anyone on CDC that needs help. I was screwed over when I helped with a clean up after the tornados came thru here in 96. I am reluctant to lend a hand to people I don't know.
