If you look at the Tackle Warehouse site, it says the 1000 and 2000 new USDM 20 Luvias are the same weight. I知 guessing this means that used the same frame size and a slightly smaller spool for 1000. Also this web site says this reel is made in Japan. I知 not sure if that is a mistake or not.
