Not sure what electronics you use or if you have any mapping software for the Cossa River but if so, just study them and look for docks where the river channel bends in close to the bank and then look at Google Earth to find docks in those areas (if your mapping software does not show docks). Another option even if you do not have a Navionics Card (Lake Master still has not made maps available for any of the Coosa river lakes yet, except Mitchell and Lay) You can go to the Navionics website and they have all of their maps available online for anyone to use free. If you use their online maps be sure to toggle the little icon on the bottom left hand side of the maps which will turn on recent sonar soundings and provide incredible current lake detail.
NO i don't have mapping software, Thinking of getting some. Didn't need it on LOZ, I knew where to go and yes I did the same thing there is I stay right out of the bends of the river. Front of the docks would be 12 ft and backs could be 60ft No joke. I get on the web site for sure. Just gettting a good map of the lake would be real help full.
