The slide I'm talking about moving from one camper to the other is a rack/pinion system. The weird thing is, the other big slide on the other side is a cable system. And the bedroom one is a schwintek. IMHO both the schitek and the cable system are garbage, they look flimsy.

The Lippert slide mechanism is the best in my opinion but there are a lot of different manufacturers out there being used today. If the actuators or rams are removed and the frame is good usually 2 guys can push the slides in and out by hand.

I can’t see anywhere on that rack/pinion system says lippert but everything else on this RV (368MBI, 2022, Keystone Cougar) seems to be lippert.

Good quality parts for sure. Lippert has slide frame adjusting videos on YouTube where I learned how to properly adjust them. You may be able to visually match one up with yours. I updated my tank sensor system on the last Class A I had, the leveling system too, and YouTube was a wonderful resource to the "How To" to get the jobs done.

I went back and looked at your pictures and I'm pretty sure that is a Lippert Slide.

Next thing is, it's a 12 ft slide, three feet deep. I'ma thinking I'ma gonna need a hoist. Two guys ain't gonna lift that thing for sure. In any case, the installation of this slide into the other camper is very likely a next year project. When FIL come down in two weeks it'll just be tear down time. Tear it down, takes bits to dump, maybe even get some scrap metals monies out of the deal, dono, never did the scrap thing.

I'ma thinking I'm gonna make a trailer out of the camper. Seen some videos on the you toob. Likely not use the 5th wheel hitch part, just a flat bed pull behind trailer so I can pick up more jeeps, right! lol

And the very back panel of the 2022 RV will become replace the back of the 2010. The 2010's one looks a little wavy, and likely has had some water in it. In the end, this will hopefully be a pretty good doner RV. Should be fun.

To remove the slide I want to keep I’ll just build a frame under it and use rollers like these. Problem solved.

That's how I've seen it done. I have a set of 4 slide supports that are adjustable that I can ship you so aligning everything will be a sinch. Let me get those to you before you make a frame. Later I will post a picture of them. We don't use them the way we use our camper on Ross Barnett. If I parked it somewhere for a extended period of time I would use them for sure. Supports the slides well.
