I would check to see if your 2010 unit has the welded mounting for the Slide in question. Videos of days past I used to watch how these units were manufactured. I suspect the first thing to check is to see if the same slide mechanism is used even. I repaired Rack & Pinion, Electric Linear Actuator, and Hydraulic Slides. Rack & Pinion & Linear Actuators were manufactured by the same company here in the USA. The dirty secret of all slides is what they actually slide on, some have rollers, some just a PE material Skid that I found out from one of our Crappie fishing Buddies is a very thin material. He replaced his with a thicker harder PE and his Super Slide worked fantastic afterwards. Other than a Deer Camp here in Mississippi you are not allowed to live in them if I'm correct.

The slide I'm talking about moving from one camper to the other is a rack/pinion system. The weird thing is, the other big slide on the other side is a cable system. And the bedroom one is a schwintek. IMHO both the schitek and the cable system are garbage, they look flimsy.
