    A popular variation here is Yellow grits instead of mashed potatoes. Never tried it that way til I moved to Lexington SC. Now that is what I fix with what we call "Country Fried Steak". On another note, I scraped out the last of the Prickly Pear jelly for my toast last night.

    Randy, did you ever get one at Ken Martin's Steak House in Bryan? That was a payday treat when I was at A&M.
