I had the same problem on my Tracker TX 175. It has to be lower that the hull. Put a fiberglass block on bottom of strake and bolted transducer to it. Garmin works fine now. Just have to make sure I don't run aground! From the last picture your transducer isn't low enough.

t I would have to put the transducer right beside the motor...I think that should work as long as it's deep enough? May submerge the whole thing then make a rooster tail shield? What do yal think about it being that close to the motor?
