Wave action is not the problem as much as the sail effect of wind on boat and body. These pits are not wide or long enough to get rough water.

Marv, just be careful hogtying that lil boat down in rough water. Couple waves over the transom and things can turn real ugly real quick. The lil trackers are not big glass hulls and you need to be careful changing the characteristics of how they handle choppy water. Better to cut a day short to return again than be swimming for shore. If anything move rod holders to rear and deploy sea anchor, chains or buckets off bow eye and let the bow handle the waves as designed. Drifting slowly with wind. Just my $.02.
