Put a couple good knots in as 4" caribener - attach to your chain and let out
enough rope & chain to almost bring the boat to a complete stop - tie off rope to
center pedstal on rear deck of boat. You won't loose anything

Marv continues to catch and catch. I only caught 11 with 7 keepers where I was fishing. Good catch Marv. I trying to keep up, but you make it hard on an old man.

Marv, just be careful hogtying that lil boat down in rough water. Couple waves over the transom and things can turn real ugly real quick. The lil trackers are not big glass hulls and you need to be careful changing the characteristics of how they handle choppy water. Better to cut a day short to return again than be swimming for shore. If anything move rod holders to rear and deploy sea anchor, chains or buckets off bow eye and let the bow handle the waves as designed. Drifting slowly with wind. Just my $.02.

Nice lil rig. Looks like someone changed a panfish sticksteer to a side console. Nice and open floor plan. Like it.

    Hey Ron.

If truth be told, I've got a few years on you my friend! We have a great time kidding one another, just having plain fun for a couple of old timers. Think I've finally found a friend who likes to fish as much as I do!

    Hey Mike,

I really appreciate your advice, ALL good information. I agree about the safety involved, I also have a hearing impairment which doesn't help. Thanks for taking the time, you have always been a BIG help to me.

    Regards,
    Marv

    Harold,

Quite a few changes since that photo. I have a couple of (Spyder loc 4) rod holders for up front and a couple extra bases for the rear. Seats have been replaced with the millennium ones . Tolling motor has been changed to a Hand Controlled Minn Kota 55#. Was actually a transom mount motor that I turned the head 180 degrees, bought a handle extension with a universal joint and I love it, especially when Spider rigging. I also put a switch like a Big Foot, but has a constant "ON" option. She's an " Oldie, but a Goodie", kind like her owner I hope!

I really like the recessed part of this boat, specially at my age, and of course my friend "Yelim"!!

What? You say something? Weren't looking at ya! Mine is steady going downhill, shooting sports and construction for years without hearing protection is rearing it's head now. Shoulda seen me and slabkeeper fishing, he left his hearing aid at home and my hearing is $hitt& to say the least. Made for some interesting conversations. My daughter is one of them hunderd mile an hour talkers, never quite sure what she is talking about. Many of my answers to her questions get some interesting looks until she realizes I did not get what she asked.
