Yes thats it... I only run 3 poles at a time trying different colors, different depths, with shiner or without. till I find one that works... I usually clamp a couple big split shots about 16-18" above my jig to keep it down there while trolling. I guess youd consider it spider rigging...I dont have a fancy spider rig rod holder or 8 matching rods...Im starting a new fishing craze called 3-legged cricket rigging.Originally Posted by Duckmarshal

Me and a buddy went to the Port today and just fished in front from 8 till about 12:30 and caught 10. I may go back there soon as I think after a man learns a little more about the creek that they can catch some fish. There were about 15 other boats but didn't see anybody tearing them up. Beautiful day, thank you Lord.

Gonna hit Bistineau in morning. Reports I'm getting aren't great but going to try it.

Fished Port Saturday. Didn't get on water until about 9. Fished about 3 hours and caught 16. Bite was fairly slow.

That Is what I would call good!!! Catching a fish every 15 minutes, I wouldn't leave unless it is all I wanted to clean
