Been getting some work done on the boat but with work it is sporadic and spread out but here is what we have done since the last pics were posted.
Transom was glassed in on the inside and it is solid as a rock.
The only pieces of original wood that is being reused is capping off the foam pockets on either side of the transom. They were cleaned up and turned out really well. I have also ground off the excess mat that is frayed all out the top. It is nice and clean now.
Over the past couple weeks been cutting out the floor pieces. First had to clean off glass trimmings where we had previously done the floor bottoms.
Then we cut to fit. I am no carpenter so this has taken a while to do but got the pieces to fit in nicely.
Then while I did not have much time, I polished off a little section of the top cap just to see what kind of work I am going to have to do to the gel coat.
I think it is going to come out nicely. Long ways away from that part. Just testing some stuff on the finish right now.CF
