Fished Friday, the conditions were perfect. Cloudy and light breeze. Found some brush with fish and some were bare, same old story. Had an old fishing partner I hadn’t fished with for several years. Found some open water schools that would bite but were running. We managed to break the century mark and had a two man limit of ten inch plus. Call it quits at two o’clock.
Cleaned them this morning, egg sacs are filling up. Boat traffic was really light for a warm Friday. Hadn’t planned to fish three times this week but glad I mustarded up the energy. The Bite is great if you can find them
Majority of my fish were caught on one eighth head on a Hologram Bobby Garland. Should be good as long as the water stays clear. The clear water makes them a bit spooky. Most fish were caught at forty plus feet so the one eight was the best choice.
