    There's a lot of folks who really enjoy reading the posts but do not respond. I heard from one of our senior members that it was sad how things had dried up. They're watching, just not letting us know.

    Lets try my report again The bite has been hot I been catching Seventy Five to a Hundred every trip A keeper for me is Ten inch or better I have to catch Forty to Sixty to get Twenty keepers Shallow brush in Ten to Twelve feet is best I am also seeing some small schools in open water Even shooting a few docks Some days I may have to fish twenty or more spots but yesterday it was eight spots If what you are doing aint workin be willing to change I have even had to find which size jig profile they want for the day Seems every trip is a riddle you have to solve to be productive It is a fun time to fish Only saw one boat fishing yesterday and No Wake Boats. The wind was a bit too much but way better than getting pounded by wakes I have been putting out a few piles now that it has cooled off and not as many Watching Eyes

    This year has been topsy turvey here too. Health problems have kept me off the water this year. Between another back surgery, and catching pneumonia. 2nd year for pneumonia in spring. Hope that 26 will be better. The only report that i had came in april, was one of the toughest times i have fished in years. With hardly any crappie caught.to tell of.
    We are getting into another surge hopefully with the big cool down. The water temp drops into the 60's. Game on.

    Went out today with a buddy and battled the wind. Fish on some structure bit great and others you had to work hard. Most piles we checked were loaded with fish. We quit with 36 crappie. A hand full of spotted bass. 2 large blue cats. The one blue was over 20 lbs. on 6 lb test. That was a fun battle.

    Went last Sat. and fished for 5 hours to get five 9" crappie! All caught with jigs (plastic and hair) on the same sunken boat I caught 10 off of on the previous weekend. Pulled jigs the rest of the time but only got some small perch hits. Bit the tail off the curly tail on one. Water temp was 70.
    Taking a road trip to a better lake soon.

    Best I can tell you is .... the emoji overload is a iPhone problem and seems to be settled around "numbers".

    I have heard of some getting rid of the emoji problem by updating their iPhone but even that don't always work (from what I've heard).

    It's kinda/sorta like the sideways pics problem, in that the message looks fine on the sending end, but the site doesn't interpret the codes and tries to "fix" the problem.
