It will take a little longer to coat heads with the applicator but it's a pretty cheap way to try out some new jig head colors.
That's a good idea I have never done any painting my own heads but may try some like this. Since my mom sells fingernail Polish maybe she or my girlfriend can give me some old bottles to experiment with.

Finger nail polish is an old secret that has been used by be for 30 years, and many others long before that. You want to make sure to use the ones with acrylic, as it dries fast and hard. Colors combinations are endless.

I guess I need to stock up on some Kalins or SP grubs. I REALLY need a new trolling motor to be honest with ya. The one I have is on it's last leg.

When they first developed the hi vis line, someone asked a Bass Pro at a seminar why they developed it. The Pro said it was so the fish could follow the line down to your lure.
    Makes sense to me.

Well I had a gift card burn. Bought up some slider jigs. Got solid white, smoke glitter, black chartreuse tail, pumpkin with black flake, junebug with chartreuse tail, chartreuse glitter. What other colors should I stock up on?

Color combos are endless, two of my favorites cover a wide arrange of water clarity, and are tri-colored Kalin jigs. Matched with different jig heads, the possibilities range far and wide. Blue, black, and chartreuse, and blue, white, chartreuse. I seldom pull without having these on a few of the poles.

Big bites brand work just as well too. Atleast pick up one pack of 'Electric Chicken'. Everybody ought to atleast pull one of these all the time. Blue/black with chart tail is definitely a "regular" for stained waters. Another color I like that hasnt been mentioned is sour grape.

I've got some EC in grubs, I plan to stock up well. I'd like to learn to longline.
