Tks guys for all the great info. I ordered the Helix 10 SI from Brian at BBG yesterday. Brian is a great guy to deal with. He also has a wealth of knowledge about all these units along with good price and great service. Can,t wait to get my new toy installed and on the water. Larry

I installed my 10 Helix 2 weeks ago. I also have the 899 on the bow. No compairison in the 2 units. The Helix is much better. If you want to absolutely BLOW YOUR MIND, use the 'Autochart live' feature when you get it. I have re-mapped one of my local lakes and found stuff that I never knew existed. It is AMAZING!!! You keep it on your Chart view select on and start driving, the map "appears" as you drive.

The Autochart seems very interesting. After you fish and map a lake-
1-How do you save that info if you go to another lake. Tks

Your unit will automatically save it on the GPS coordinates. You get 8 hours of autochart that will save to your unit hard drive but to do more you must buy the zero line sd card
