5 gallon bucked of concrete with a 2x4 in the middle of it. Wired the bamboo grid to it after I got to the lake. It went down as good as the normal bamboo condo that I dropped close to it. They are from the recording file of a humminbird 798 using a 998 transducer. I have a 998 on the bow, but I just set the 798 at the console to record (I do this on every fishing trip), then review the recording from my recliner at my convenience. The pic is a screen shot from the recording played back in Deepview. If it is a long fishing trip, I will try to stop and start the recording from time to time to keep the file size smaller.

Deepview is a free sonar viewer like Humviewer, but deepview needs a file conversion. I first run the saved .son file throught a converter called son2xtf and it will create a file with a .xtf extension. This file will play in Deepview. I like it much better than Humviewer.

beware of some of the downloads there...I had a bunch of junk on my puter to remove ...it was bogged down bad ....had extra downloads and 18 malware items to remove
