I own a 5 series HB with di, works great. But with all the hype about si, it seems the way to go. Saw some images posted and Im in love and can't wait. I fish a 14ft jon boat and heard I'm fine even if I don't upgrade boats. Just not sure which unit or set-up to buy. I grew crappie and bass fishing and recently started fishing brackish waters (J R edges). I'm open for any and all suggestions and pointers. Thx Howard

I would look at the 898 or 998 closeouts at BBGMarine.

Well since you are familiar with H/B products, I'd recommend staying with them and go up in screen size to an 8xx or 9xx series unit. BBG had some sweet deals going on 898 units! I have a 798 and went up to a 998, and the bigger screen size made all the difference in the world. You can buy a 8xx series unit now for the price I paid for a 798.
