Thread: paint help

Started paining jigs for the first time today. Most came out good but a couple have this orange peel on them and some it turned black too. Is this a product of some oil or something on the jig or a problem with the heat? I varied heating times with little or no difference if this appeared or not. What is your ideas? If I need to clean the jigs what should I use? Acetone or just soap and water or something else?
You guys make this look too simple. LOL
