Thread: laser blades

was out a few days ago and couldnt buy a crappie bite, so, i tie up one of the blades that laserdoc sent me and tried my hand at catchin gills. weht to one of my spots and started vert jigging a blade and it didnt take very long before my BnM was heavy from a bull gill, tried it again and wham another big gill and another and another, im thinking a fluke! so i head to another spot where there is some fish but not where i would take a customer. Wham, same thing as the first place, fish wern't as big but the Blade was working for me. i even backed out and tried casting just to make sure that it was the real deal, it was! used the laser blade until i lost it in some buck brush.

TIP heat the bend in the hook to remove the temper and you won't lose your blade like i did

TIP try using a barrel swivel and a leader to avoid line twist (which ure gonna get w/ any spoon or blade) the swivel and leader just help keep it under controll
