    Default laser blades

was out a few days ago and couldnt buy a crappie bite, so, i tie up one of the blades that laserdoc sent me and tried my hand at catchin gills. weht to one of my spots and started vert jigging a blade and it didnt take very long before my BnM was heavy from a bull gill, tried it again and wham another big gill and another and another, im thinking a fluke! so i head to another spot where there is some fish but not where i would take a customer. Wham, same thing as the first place, fish wern't as big but the Blade was working for me. i even backed out and tried casting just to make sure that it was the real deal, it was! used the laser blade until i lost it in some buck brush.

TIP heat the bend in the hook to remove the temper and you won't lose your blade like i did

TIP try using a barrel swivel and a leader to avoid line twist (which ure gonna get w/ any spoon or blade) the swivel and leader just help keep it under controll

P.S. if dave will send me some more for FREE ill give 1 to each 1 of my customers because i'm sold

Thanks for ordering a 1000. I will send you an extra 500 along with some cards so you can give one to each client when you do your guide trips. This time I did 500 in a black and chart and the other in a chart and ruby splash as you wanted.
    Good fishing to you!!

Thats what i did with microspoons three years ago and now everyone is copying them cause they work so well. Your clients will love them and let them know other people make them too.

Is there only one size or what? Also what color were you catching the brim with?

Just got a few in that I ordered and they look very nice. How do most guys fish the laserblades? I will be fishing mostly shallow water on the bluegill beds. Do you tip them with anything? Will a split shot added above the swivel and leader line help with casting these light lures? Anyone tried drop shotting with them?

mepperson, I havent tried my blades much yet, but last week I was killin the bluegill on a 1/16 hair jig, chartruese, with 1/2 a european nitecrawler on the hook. hooked by the end of the worm only, so it waves all around. fished under a cork. In other words, try a whole redworm, or 1/3 canadian crawler, under a foam cork. the redears like the worm too, but they like it sitting still longer.

I like to use a weighted bobber instead of the splitshot, lets the laser blades have their full wiggle-wobble action, but thats just me, but do weight above a long leader (2-3') for trolling deep water. I'd say you could tip them if you want, but I have caught quite a few without meat. Red worms or wax worms will work. When I troll them for crappie, I somtimes will tip em with minnies as well. Hope this helps.
