In the south we have Catwaba trees that a type of Catapiller loves to eat. During certain times of the summer the Catapillers will devour the folage on these trees and the little critters are excellent Bream bait. I just pick them off the tree, put them in a container and use them like I would a worm or cricket. They may grow up north too, I don't know.
