Ok, next trip out I will be looking for a trout magnet kit with the 1/64 ounce and some 2 lb. test line to put on my little 5'6" Shakespeare outfit that I was given by one of my sons a couple of months ago.

Me too. I am amazed by the catches on a 1/64 Trout Magnet. Will not put down Sliders but throwing Trout Magnet's a lot more now.
I've not given up on my Sliders , I'll always throw them once the water warms . But for now , the smaller TM's are doing it .
I found some 1/32 TM darter jigheads this morning at local Dick's sporting goods . They had them in 1/16 too . I'm going to try them with my Sliders . Most of the time I trim the first couple rings off my Slders to put the hook just in front of where the tail attaches to the body . Makes a shorter package and changes the wiggle . I think it helps with the gills. Been doing this long before they started making the 1" Sliders . Never tried them .

Most Walmarts carry the TM. I have been using them for about six years. They have become my #1 artificial bait for bream. They don't look like much, but the fish like 'em.

Congrats on your catching. Another month for us up here (for open water) before we can start catching too!
