1/16 may be a bit too heavy for bream/gills. Stay with 1/32 or1/64 for better resilts.

I've caught crappie and small large mouth bass with 1/16th ounce Road Runners. I love'em!

The most important part is the hook size if the hooks are too big then they can't fit in the gills mouth. I use #6 and smaller for gills.# 8 is my all time favorite. As far as the weight of the baits i've caught a ton of gills on 1/20 and 1/24 oz jig heads, just tipped with crawler pieces.Any of the baits you listed will catch fish.

This is a joke right? Will a crappie lure catch a crappie?
I heard someone say its better to fish the wrong lure in the right place than the right lure in the wrong place.

1/16 is a bit too large for Bluegill
