I spent Saturday, Sunday and Monday fishing the waters around Yuma AZ and the canals in Imperial County CA. The fish are on the beds so we put them all back. Here are some shots of representative fish. The first one was taken from the Gila Gravity Canal in Yuma, AZ and the last two were taken from the East Highline Canal in Imperial County CA.








I am going back to Yuma in 2 weeks. This time I am pulling the boat. You seldom hear of Crappie being caught over there, but there are a few stories. I hope to change that shooting docks, fishing the rock jetties and shallow brush. I intend to fish with jigs and crickets.
