We Fish Roadrunners With Twist Tail Grubs And Crappie Stingers Here In Va With Exceptional Luck Always
I've caught crappie and small large mouth bass with 1/16th ounce Road Runners. I love'em!
The most important part is the hook size if the hooks are too big then they can't fit in the gills mouth. I use #6 and smaller for gills.# 8 is my all time favorite. As far as the weight of the baits i've caught a ton of gills on 1/20 and 1/24 oz jig heads, just tipped with crawler pieces.Any of the baits you listed will catch fish.
