I wish I could go My sons soccer games are on Saturdays starting next week and I doubt the Mrs would let me skip one to go fishing.

I'll make it to Eufaula one day though. I have it on my target list to fish anyways

I would be nice if you could make it. I just hope the weather is tolerable for 3 days. I really want to work those creeks overnight.

My 14 yr old son got put in the hospital for pneumonia was a pretty bad deal at first 105.8 temp and they had a heck of a time keeping it down but he is better now. By God's grace I am planning on being there but I was planning on him being with me as he is my fishing buddy. Sounds like it is all coming together and I am excited about being a part of this. Lip has sure taken a load of this and kept mine pretty light and I am grateful for that as right now it would be hard for me. Am meeting with Lip saturday so if anyone wants to be in on the planning of this speak up. Hope to get some fishing in Saturday also. Looking forward to a Oklahoma Crappie group thing hopefully year by year. This ought to be a lifetime of info and entertainment for us Okie fishermen. Way I see it our future generations will benefit even more than us. Thanks to everyone who is making this possible.

Is anyone going to be there early, like Friday morning?

Reaper; Looks like camping areas are wide open everywhere down here. Unless your going primitive?

I may be - just depends on the weather and how I feel at the time. I keep an RV stored down there so all I have to do is drag the boat down and pull the RV out of storage to set it up. I usually stay around the state park. I haven't been down there in about a month so I'm thinking of going down this Wed or Thur for some of that forecast good weather---then maybe a day or two early for the meeting---then back the next week. My wife is a member of the Eufaula Quilt Guild so I usually pull out the RV for her to stay in for a couple of days of meetings while I fish.

I haven't done any night fishing in several years because I usually fish alone. I have type II diabetes so it's hard enough for me to keep from stumbling around in the daylight. If anyone is down there at those times I'll be in a black/grey Lund 17' and driving a long bed chevy diesel. If you yell at me and I don't respond it's because I don't wear my hearing aids at the lake.

I'll also be wearing my new Crappie.com hat which came in the mail today. It's the new soft style and (although pricey with your handle on it) is really comfortable and well done.

Lookin forward to meeting you all.

I'll be in a gold Chevy pickup and a pontoon boat with 35 Bee Ready Rod Holders all around the edges. Old, Fat, Bald guy having lots of fun!
