Well, as a kid I was always out of the house before breakfast. We didn't have pancakes in the Army. Always SOS which I still love. Then, after getting married, my wife liked pancakes but they were always too sweet for me.

Floyd, you have definitely been sheltered all your life! I have had peanut butter on my pancakes (and waffles) as long as I can remember and I'm older than you!! lol

Well, I doubt we have pancakes - probably have the modern version of SOS (sausage gravy.) But bring it anyway - what I used this morning was the last of the jar you left in the trailer at Eufaula.

How about flapjacks and sausage for breakfast Sunday morning? I've got a good electric griddle and I'm sure crappiepappa can find some peanut butter to bring!!

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't REAL SOS made from corned beef. The only reason I ask is that I have always been under the impression that old time corned beef wouldn't spoil and could be 'hung dry'.
