Josh, the tool man that comes around (you know, for the permanent extraction) is interested in bringing his boat up for the camp. I told him that I would hear something more about this in the next couple of days and will keep him in the loop. It was cool because we were talking about Hudson and If I had ever fished it. I told him that I was getting ready to and told him about the camp and he jumped at it!

Okay guys its getting more organized now. Here we go....the tournament will be from 630 to approx 11am. Boaters will need to arrive at Lake Shore Park at 6am to register and meet up with your counselor and angler. Fish until 11 or 1130. As you come in there will be someone to weigh your catch from a club out of Eufaula called Future Bass. They will handle the weigh in. If your angler gets tired or bored and you want to go in early you can. The Burn camp will provide fishing poles and some tackle to the kids. Also lifejackets will be provided. They do not expect the boaters to supply them. If you have some that are to small or dont need/use you may bring and donate to camp. We will launch out of LakeShore RV park. The Rv Park is waiving the $3.00 launch fee that day. They also have RV spots available for $20.00 a night which is for a 30amp spot. No 50 amp left. If you want to camp in tent it is $10.00 per night. She advised to call ahead and reserve your spot now. 918-434-6542. If you know of someone who would like to help by beaing a boater please encourage them to do so. We wi need approx 40 boats to give each kid a chance to fish. They are making a new boater application form and I will be posting that soon. So with this said...are there any questions. Please ask if you have them. It is going to be a great time for everyone and I am looking forward to this.

Ok Josh, I have a question. You state a weigh-in, I may have missed something here, but just what are the fish being wieghed? Crappie, bass, ctafish, ect. or is it just all fish weighed and the most weight gets the prize or are there different categories? Just wanting to clear this up for all. I am still trying to work my schedule so I can help as a boater.

Hey Jiggin. Great question. We are going to accept any fish. We will weigh largest fish and then all of your fish. Prizes for largest fish. Most fish. Smallest fish. Biggest trash fish and so on. We as boaters can help decide what should be a category that gets a prize. Its a fun event so I think lets make it fun. Big fish. Small fish. Most fish. Trash fish. Any other ideas.

Form filled out and emailed to Jennifer per directions on the form. Got a 19' Deck boat rigged for just this kind of event. It can safely handle 2 kids and sponsers with myself and possibly a deck hand.

Also sent the link to my Bass club president. Will see if we can recruit some bass anglers for this.
