Thread: Heated fishing docks

Anyone fished either the heated dock or the new open dock at Lake Arcadia since the cold weather hit?

Has anyone been to Arcadia dock this year yet?

I fished it a few times earlier in December and it was hit and miss but did catch some pretty nice fish, of course they all told me I should have been there the week before cause they were killin em, story of my life. The lake is was about four or five ft low at that time, not sure about now. Any new reports would be appreciated.

I talked to some guys that went Sunday and caught 2 six inch fish

Anyone been out to Claremore heated fishing dock or even know what the water level is like? I ain't been out there in about a year.

Greenleaf Dock

Three of us fished from 10:00 till 2:00 today and caught a grand total of two small Crappie. One guy had four small ones he said he caught at about 07:00 and nobody else caught anything. Lake is at least 5 ft low.

There is a heated dock on Lake Ponca at Ponca City. Built by the ODW. Nice facility, but the lake is real low now with the drought, so I'm thinking the water depth may not be but 10' or less. It is monitored by the Ponca PD with closed circuit camera, and is open 24/7. Used to be nothing but dinks in that lake, but the ODW has really been putting in structure, like spider blocks, etc. The quality of the crappie, has, and is continuing to improve to the point where one can occasionally catch a slab.

We tried the heated dock at Lake Hudson Marina today from 10:00 till about 2:00 and caught NADA. There were a few nice fish caught outside on the docks real early this morning but only one fish caught inside all day. Nice facility but very limited parking. He has a pretty good assortment of Bobby Garland Baby Shad and Slab Slayers, sells minnows and cooks food right in the dock. Nice folks and warm and cozy inside.
