I look forward to seeing everyone and having a great time turning Talala Creek into an outstanding fishing area!
Sure, I plan to print a few up of the Talala Creek area. X marks the spot should be close enough for anyone with a regular finder to locate it. I would suggest listing the depth next to the X to make it easier. I plan to share any coordinates with those who help. Since I won't be on the deployment team, I might be at the mercy of the HDS 8 to locate them all.

I have the pallets that Jake gave me, my good friend Bill just dropped off his trailer with 40 cinder blocks on it. I think we have a great start. The things I currently have are enough to make 20 nice drops once the brush is added. I plan on taking the two trailers, one with blocks and one with pallets down to the ramp and dropping them off. The 16' trailer will be backed into the water a little to allow the deployment boats to pull up to and load without having to beach it. I have another 8' trailer that will be taking the brush down to the ramp as it's cut from my place.

Don't forget to bring a chair to spell yourself if needed. It's supposed to be a hot week coming up, if we're lucky, we can be done by 9 a.m.

Reaper, a close friend of mines father passed away and the funeral is Saturday so i will not be able to make it. I have about 25 cinder blocks I have been saving for this. Would it be ok to drop them at your place Wednesday evening? I hate I am going to miss it but I still would like to help with what I have.

That would be great! Sorry about the death of your friends father. We can add your blocks to Bills trailer. I'll do my best to get the coordinates to you.

Just add brush and cinder blocks.

I would also like to ask those involved that they have no problem signing a simple liability release so as to avoid any possible lawsuits against myself, Crappie.com, the owners of the property where I reside, Corp of Engineers or Rogers County, and anyone volunteering to help in this venture. I hate to ask this, but in this day and age, I'd just like to be safe. I hope everyone understands.

Oh, forget about bringing deck screws and cordless drills. I had a box of ringshank 3" galvanized nails for the framing gun and it works just fine, not to mention a heck of a lot faster. Cinder blocks, rope, few more pallets, chain saw and bar oil.

Looks as if there will be 6 Crappie.com members show up along with two non members. We should be able to sink some decent structure. I'd like to pre-thank those who show.

Odie stopped in this evening to bring some copper wire for tying blocks off. While we were visiting, a ford pickup comes down the road squatting a tad. Turns out it was Bosshog making good on bringing a bunch of cinder blocks out for the drop. After loading them onto Bills trailer, we talked about Oologah and the Crappie fishing. I told them both we'll have to schedule a fishing day sometime this fall with a bunch of the group. Should be fun and it was great to finally meet Boss.

I received the T-shirts from Ed Moes (Slab) in the mail today, they look good. I will take them to Craig so he can pass them out. A big thank you to Slab and to everyone that is helping Saturday and everyone donating materials.
