That's tough to do unless you have access to one of the deeper pools from private land and use a boat small enough to carry in and out.
If you happen to put in at the dam and they're running some good water, you can go all the way to Catoosa. BUT, if you're past any of the shoals when they close the gates, you'll be one of two things. You're boat will be trapped in one of the deeper pools, or....you're boat will be left sitting on a pile of rocks until they open the gates back up which could be a couple of weeks.
You can run into the same thing by going upstream from Rogers Point. If you get upstream too far and the water stops to flow, you're stuck!
