Keep the pics coming Stink! It's great fun to follow your progress!
It's ready for sheetrock and the drywall crew is scheduled to be here early Tuesday morning. Here's a few pictures of the interior.

The shot above is looking through the wall from the utility room into the bathroom. On top of the board across the front of the bathtub will be some type of counter-top. Not sure what I will use, maybe marble or granite. I like the idea of setting stuff where's its handy.

This picture is from the corner of the bedroom looking North across the living room area. I'm glad I decided to leave this area open and not wall off the bedroom as originally planned.

The picture above is looking South from the opposite end of the cabin as the last picture. The lawn chair is setting just about where my bed will be and to the right of the chair is the sliding glass patio door. The closet area includes a shower just to the left of the bedroom.

Almost the same view, but swung the camera a little to the left to show a dab of the kitchen area. The yellow light-stand is setting right around the corner from where the refridgerator will be.

I took this picture mainly for my son's benefit so he will know how I framed out the wall for the closet. I framed an area for a HVAC unit and placed a header for an intake vent in case some day in the future he decides he wants to install central heat and air. Vents are pre-installed too since its so much easier to do it prior to hanging sheetrock then it is later.
I seriously doubt if I ever convert it over to CH&A, but who knows, I might and down the road after I'm gone, my son may decide to take the step.
I'm leaving this cabin to my kids and I doubt if it will ever be sold. I hope it brings years and years of enjoyment to my children and grandchildren.
Thanks for looking at my latest edition of pictures to my project.:)
:d
Jim,
If your even a little interested in installing htg/clg check out the geothermal systems. There is a big federal tax credit available and some electric utility companies are offering rebates. We are near Brush Hill and with East Central Coop, I think I read that thier rebate is $750.00/ton.
Scott
Thanks Scott, I'll keep that in mind for future considerations. I think I would be restricted somewhat by the Corp since a geothermal system would have to go into the area of my lot they control. But its worth checking out later on.
I appreciate your input.
Drywall crew should be here anytime and after they have hung the sheetrock, I will take some more pics showing the interior of the cabin.
Very nice, it's going to be great!
Thanks meatdragger and others;
Amazing the progress made in less than 24 hours when you have a lightning crew of Mexicans that can sheetrock quicker than Leland can catch crappie.
Take a look at the difference;

Picture made from the North looking towards the bedroom, shower-room, utility room, and the bathroom at the door on the far left.

This shot is from the kitchen looking West towards the living room.

This picture captures almost the entire West side of the cabin with the bedroom area on the far left, the main entry door, and the living room to the right (North).

Another shot of the bedroom area and the door into the shower room. I think I need to clean the lens of my camera, those specks of dust look like little round ghosts floating around.

This last picture is looking North from the bedroom area towards the living room area. I tried to duplicate the shots I made yesterday before the sheetrock was put up. Quite a difference it makes when yesterday it looked fairly rough.
Thanks again for looking folks and wish me luck as I go prodding along.:)
Looks great. Noticed your entry door is not in place yet, got something special planned for that?
