Spencer and Tallala Creek aren't very far south from there, and both seem to be very productive spawning areas. Lots of brush in both areas. I think with the sun shining today, tomorrow, and Saturday, the males will be back up in the shallows, and the females hanging out a little deeper in and around brush. Minnows have been a key for us lately, although my biggest fish have come on jigs without minnows. Hope that helps Matthewjp.
Yeah, I am from Bartlesville so it's convenient to fish the north end. I have a little 17' tracker so I can't fish the big water with any wind. Oologah seems to get pretty nasty when the wind blows.

I will check the winganon area out. I noticed most of the brush pIles listed on the corpse website were in that area. Is that what most people fish?

Thanks for the input, helping a new guy out. I appreciate the pointers.
