Went out Saturday with some friends from 6:00 to 10:00. We had a great time and brought home 32 keepers. We had several nice fish and we lost a few right at the boat. We caught them the same way we have all summer, fishing brush piles in 15 - 16ft. Caught some early on jigs, but not as many as last week. Didn't do real good drop shotting today, the crappie were holding tight to the brush and tight lining straight down was the best method. My friends Linda and Gary caught the biggest fish and tipped their minnows with crappie nibbles. Only saw 2 other boats on the water this morning. I guess the heat has everybody holed up under the AC. Here is picture of the bigger fish Linda and Gary caught.
