I have FREE stuff to give away to two people who fish Oologah as the primary fishin hole AND who fish there often.

First, here's my story. I'm an iPhone user and I wanted to find an app that would allow me to keep a fishing journal of sorts, just something that I could use to keep track of what kind, how many, and where on the lake I caught my fish for 2011. My thinking was that once I had enough data stored within the app I would then know when and where I would find the best production on Oologah for any time of year and under any conditions. What I found was an app for the iPhone (also available for the Android) called "FishNotes" which sounded like it would fit my needs, so I paid the $13 and installed it. Little did I know that right now the owners of this app are doing a massive upgrade, so the current version has limited use for the next two weeks give or take some.

To make a long story shorter I contacted the owners, told them my problems with the app that for the most part is broken. They told me to give them some time as they are in the process of a massive upgrade, I told them this was BS and I was going to blast them on my iTunes review of the app, this got the owners attention and prompt action from the powers that be. I've seen screen shots of the yet to be released new version and it's actually AWESOME! For all my trouble the owners of this app have offered to give two of my friends FREE copies of the app.

So what does it currently do...

Well, to start with it allows you to create a fishing report that includes photos, voice message, and even video. The record you create in the app includes a map of where you caught it, what you caught, when you caught it, weather & water conditions, and more. It then allows you to share that with other users of the app, and it will automatically post your report on your FaceBook and GoFishN walls for all your friends and family to see, REALLY NEAT!! The new version improves on all of this and adds even more capability. So, as you can imagine, the more people who fish the same lake, and who use the app, the more information all the other users of the app who fish the same lake get. This makes knowing when, where, and what is biting readily available to users of the app thus making our fishing trips more productive.

Who can get the free copies...

I'm looking for two people who meet the following criteria.

1) Oologah is your primary fishin hole and you fish there often.
2) You are a hardcore iPhone or Android user and intend to stay that way.
3) You are at least somewhat techie oriented and wouldn't mind using an app like this.
4) You can see the value in 3 people (or more) who fish Oologah often sharing this type of info.
5) And most of all, you will use it so that the three of us can enjoy more productive Oologah fishing.

What I'm NOT looking for is an app horder who won't use the app, this will do us no good at all, so please, don't bother. I will look through the fishing reports posted to this thread, if you are are not an avid Oologah Fishing Report contributor here then I really doubt you would use the app.

So, if you are the type person I'm looking for please PM me and let me know. Once I have my two people for the free apps I'll contact the owners of FishNotes and get the info needed to get you your free copy.

Best,
