Has anyone fished with them lowering the water level like that? I was thinking of going up Friday afternoon but if the fish aren't biting might head somewhere else.

Yes yesterday caught some of the biggest of the year but from what it has been it was somewhat tougher. If you can get up there with some kids and graph the big sandbass are everywhere also around the piles the kids would have a blast!
Great! I appreciate it George!

Took my daughters this afternoon. We fished minnows and the bite was nonstop off of the first brush pile we stopped at and didn't leave it until the girls were worn out! Didn't use my counter but my guess is they probably caught 70 to 80 in 2 1/2 hours. Had a blast today! All were released to grow into big crappie.

You are a George after my own heart GF- see you in the shallows soon.
I have not been out in about a month, but I'm taking my kids out this weekend. George, where were you seeing those big sand bass? I'm going to get them out pulling some cranks, and they'd have a blast if we could get in to em.
Just about everywhere I am going tomorrow will give you more up to date info they may be moved if they stopped the flow of water
