I got a chance to make out today. Fished from 11:30am - 6:00p. I caught lots of shorts, but managed to keep 20 or so keepers. Blue Grass was the jig of choice and they hit it on the fall and dead sticking. DOW was 10ft - 16ft.

What part of lake were you fishing crappieguru?
Way to go Guru, like to see the good reports off of the Big O, been wanting to make a trip up there.
Way to break the drought Guru. Looks like some nice fish!
Way to go CG! Made me look bad or I made you look good! LOL
Boxer: I fished the Spencer Creek area. Started around Billy Goat bluff and worked my way back to the boat ramp.
Coyote: You made me look good.
Wow. I had to dig a long ways back to find this thread. My info is not much better, but maybe better than a blank screen. I stepped back to the other side of the fence yesterday. 15 is all i could muster up. Caught a nice hybrid (very rare, in the far north end) on cut shad. He came from salt creek. The water is SOO clear up there. 3' visibility! I did find a lot of crappie on the rip rap though. 10 FOW. I saw a large pod of shad, threw my net, got 200 shad, 10 nice crappie, 5 sandbass with one throw. I will be back there on Saturday! Water temp was 78!
Glad you got out to catch a few ledge!!!
Attachment 134510Went with Ledge yesterday, we caught about 20 total, 10 keepers, 5 nice ones. Big fish caught by Ledge at 1.76 lb. Had to cover some water to get fish in the boat. Fish were at 10 -12 FOW on or near the bottom. Black/Pink wooly bees were the most consistent, they did better than the minnows. Was good fun fishing with Ledge on his yacht.
Glad you and ledge caught some! What's the water like over there?
