Here they are. You want to look at the EGO Reach Rubber Net. Looks like they've went up a little since I bought mine a few years ago, but well worth it.
EGO Reach Crappie Net
Actually at 40 to50 $ thats still pretty cheap when you are talking about losing a big fish. And one thing about it if you take. Are of it you want have buy another one.
I've had one a couple years or so and they are super!
Well, what do you guys think? Will they follow the water up or will it turn to chocolate milk and get really bad? I imagine the water temps are suffering with 58 degree rain.
They'll follow it up. I've caught crappie off the Winganon bridge rip rap when you could see the road!!.

Talala Creek will be muddy for awhile. The worst part about this much rain is that Oologah will rise fast and remain there until all other lakes get close to normal. Then they'll start letting some of the pool go down. The spawn will still happen, but could be spread far and wide. I'm just curious as to how high the lake is going to get. The only good thing I see about this much water is eventually, they'll let the water out and I'll have to boat below the dam chasing some Blues.
Fished Saturday and Sunday 3-24 & 3-25. Got there both days in early afternoon water temp Sat was 57-58 and Sun was 60-61. Fished Blue Creek Both days. Water was Stained but not what i would call Muddy. We Fished Brush piles that produced last fall. @ normnal pool are 12-16 FOW but with the lake up 18-22. Water was all the way to the top of the ramp but useable. ( Far cry from bumpin the bottom all the way out of the launch last fall lol) Sat ended up with 17 keepers over 10" cpl were 12+. The Bite was REALLY light on minnows. Couldnt beg one to hit a jig, but im not real good at jig fishin anyway. Sunday was worse but got on the water a cpl hrs later than Sat. Only ended up with 5 keepers lots of dinks both days. There were JET SKIS ON THE LAKE. Man they really hollered when they wiped lol. Even tho the Fishin was tough to say the least it was a REALLY NICE weekend and great to just be out!!!!!!
I stopped down to the red bud ramp Suday morning with the dog and surprisingly the water was in decent shape clarity wise but up probably 8-10 ft. Talked to several people who hadn't caught a thing. We were thinking about coming back with the boat but ended up doing yard work instead. Also stopped at the dam and didnt see much going on there, although a couple reports of paddlefish were mentioned. Stopped out to Skiatook on Sat and couldnt manage a bite. Tried several spots in Turkey creek. That lake looks like it would be great for crappie, but in the year or so weve lived here I havent been able to do any good on it.
Hopefully this next weekend will bring some better fishing with the lake level dropping and the water temp rising.
